Radiesse is a long lasting injectable implant/dermal filler which is 100% biocompatible and biodegradable ,based on a synthetic calcium hydroxylapatite (CaHA) suspended in a gel carrier. • Can Radiesse be injected over other implants?
   

  No, Radiesse must not be injected over other implants but can be used over or under dermal fillers eg. Restylane.

• Will Radiesse become hard to touch?
   

  No. Radiesse will stay soft and pliable and takes on the characteristics of the surrounding tissue.

• Is Radiesse approved to cosmetic use?
   

  Yes, Radiesse is fully approved for facial augmentation with CE mark certification and USA FDA clearance.

• Are there any risks involved?
   

  Initial swelling, mild bruising and redness can occur which settles within a few days. Rarely infection or granulation formation can occur. The product softens and feels completely normal by about 2 weeks

• How quickly can I return to normal activities?
   

  Around 24 hrs after your injections, most swelling or redness will have subsided. Some patients return to work immediately following injection, while others may need 24hrs.

• How many treatments will I require?
   

  Most patients will achieve the optimum correction with just their first treatment. Patients with very deep lines however may require a second layer of the product to achieve the best result.
